An Art break (well...actually the opposite)

So what do I mean from my title o-O it doesn't make sense?!

True enough so I shall explain to the very few people reading this

I am taking a break posting well actual work I'm attempting to hone my artskills so I'm practicing and and doing tutorials to become a better artist, I may upload scraps but that's about it.

I don't want to do any pictures for the moment until I'm decent with the basics so I need to get all my facial and body proportions correct and really work on poses and hands. Also I've taken a bit of a break from bleach fanarts, sorryz but I shall make a return soon I'm improving at a rapid rate, I've been sketching like crazy this holiday break.

I'm attempting to self teach myself art. Art is a hobby I've had all my life but that's it a hobby, I'm not amazing and don't have all the technical stuff down, I've barely began teaching myself the basics of the human form.

I've always been a fan of art though even taking two years of advanced art history but no actual drawing courses. So I love art from renowned visual artists Caravaggio, Fragonard, Manet, and Mucha to famous literature artists such as Vonnegut, Dickens, Shakespeare, and the Bronte sisters. At the same time I adore cartoons especially Disney's style and mangakas in particular Tite Kubo and Tomoko Hayakawa so I usually have a perference for the not so generic manga look.

That aside I'm you're average nerd. I'm a animal activist and feminist...and feel very strong about those issues. Also I'm very much the klutz. Oh and I'm addicted to sugar, spice, and everything nice...no really I love sugary sweets and pastries, I love spicey food and I put cayenne on virtually anything, and well who doesn't like nice things?

I have myopia but I refuse to wear my glasses or contacts...Riruka Dokugamine you were like my manga version of me..personality wise atleast (I love cute things too but I'm no priss)

Like you...I still have a long way to go with my art. I am self taught and I am trying to improve my art skills.

It takes a while to develop art skills so I'm glad I have patience lol. You're on the right track as well so I wish you luck too and yes always enjoy yourself while drawing.
